Project White

Description
Project White is my first 2D game, created during the Game Design Connect 3.0 event organized by Gameloft Indonesia. This event allowed programmers and game designers to collaborate on a predetermined theme. We developed a Windows-based casual game with 2D visuals, centered around a terminally ill main character awaiting their final moments. Players can perform various activities, each of which influences the game’s ending.
Story
The story revolves around a main character who is ill and near the end of their life. The character can choose to perform various activities or do nothing, with each choice affecting the game’s ending.
Job description
As the programmer, I was responsible for implementing the mechanics of each minigame requested by the game designer. Initially, I faced challenges due to limited experience with 2D game development, so I collaborated with team members to address potential issues. After gaining a foundational understanding of 2D concepts, I developed all the minigame mechanics.

Watering Mechanic
Enables players to water plants, with animated visuals of water splashing from a teapot for enhanced interaction.

Rubbing Mechanic
Involves rubbing a piece of paper to reveal a hidden image of a flower, adding an engaging, interactive element.
